Women's T20 World Cup: Australia beat Pakistan by 9 wickets 


 
Pakistan team was bowled out for 82 runs, Australia achieved the target of 83 runs in 11 overs at the loss of only one wicket.

Australia beat Pakistan by 9 wickets in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. 

  • In Dubai, Australian captain won the toss and preferred fielding, Pakistan's first wicket fell for 13 runs and captain Muniba Ali managed to score 7 runs.

  • After that Sadaf Shams 3, Sudra Amin 12, Amima Sohail 3 and Nida Dar returned with 10 runs. In such a situation, Alia Riaz batted well and scored 26 runs while Iram Javed also scored 12 runs.

  • Pakistan team got out after scoring 82 runs in the last over. Australia's Ashley Gardner dismissed four players while Annabelle and Georgia took two wickets each.

  • Chasing 83 runs, Australia's first wicket fell for 36 runs, Beth Mooney scored15 runs and became the victim of Sadia Iqbal.

  • Captain Alyssa Healy and Alice Perry then put on a good partnership, Alyssa Healy retired Hurt when the team's score reached 69 and the rest of the score was completed by Alyssa Perry and Ashley Gardner for just one wicket in 11 overs.
